Freeze

Help

I have an Asus laptop with an HDMI port and 4 G of memory. Running windows 7 professional.
When I installed Eden and tried to start the program it frooze at the welcome screen. So then I installed Frodo beta. Now It does not freeze on the welcome screen. I can play movies, but when I try to select "Music" it freezes solid. The only way out is to power down.

Any suggestions ?
