Ive just upgraded to Win8 pro and tested my xbmc and it worked fine. But then I removed the password I used to log into Win8 because it linked everything up in my MS account and I didnt want to password protect my log in. I switched to a local account but now XBMC wont connect to my SMB shares on my computer.
I read a similar post on this board where someone else had the same problem, but it wasnt resolved.
Any ideas on what could be wrong here? I would have thought if anything it should work the other way around in that it would only connect if I didnt have a passwod not when i do.
