XBMC is slow when I exit the program

It seems that XBMC is slow when I exit the program. It is also slow when I add addon from Zip file. The behavior is as follows. I have included links to the log files for each.

1) Exit - when I select this, again the system seems to freeze, when again it appears to be doing something based on hard drive actiivity, etc. Seems to take between 5 and 10 minutes to close the program.

2) Add addon from Zip file- click this choice and the system appears to freeze, but it seems to be taking inventory of my system. This seems to take forever, but more like a few minutes and then finally you are presented with drives and locations to navigate and find the Zip file.
