Acer Revo and Logitech Harmony

I've trawled through so many threads but I still haven't found the best way to set up the Logitech Harmony remote on XBMC. I'm using the FLIRC dongle on an Acer Revo running Openelec. At the moment I'm not sure what profile I'm using on the remote but it sucks because I have to press each button twice for it to register, and the button repeating (for fast menu scrolling) is terrible.

Does anyone know the best way to do it then?
