I'm wondering what the best way to get 5.1 audio into the music library is?
My library consists of MP3 for most things but I keep the music I really care about in FLAC. I've recently replaced some long-in-the-tooth CD's with some remastered box sets and these box sets come with a few DVD remasters in 5.1 surround. What I'd like to do is access these 5.1 mixes from the audio library alongside the FLAC copy of the remastered stereo CD. This way, depending on what system I'm using, I can choose my nice stereo copy or the 5.1 remix without having to go into a separate menu/source.
I'm not looking for any of the video stream, which may show pictures or lyrics on screen along with navigation words or graphics like next and previous. I'm fine leaving the video stream behind, I just want the 5.1 audio mix as if it were just another album to select in the library (with metadata if at all possible as well.)
Is this possible with XBMC?
