After spending a lot of time trying to resolve this issue, I decided to ask here.
I have been trying to get my RPi 512MB stream rtmp links since I got it last week. I have installed the official OpenElec 3.0.0 build and official Raspbmc build with the same issue:
I am unable to play the following stream: It plays for exactly 20 seconds and then freezes. The playback is also quite laggy for those 20 seconds.
However, the following stream plays perfect with no issues.
I don't know why the official OpenElec builds cannot play rtmp links. I can play all of my streams on my Windows XMBC (either Eden or Frodo).
Please note that my power supply is fine and puts out a constant 4.95 volts on full load. My SD card is a brand new Sandisk Ultra. And I am using the Ethernet port.
I only want to use my RPi to stream RTMP links and nothing else. I don't need PVR, add-ons, fanart, etc.... since I'm using a M3U playlist. Any help will be appreciated.
