When adding videos, then browse, I can see NFS as an option. I select it and it returns the IP of my NAS and hit enter and it returns a list of folders on the NAS e.g. /raid0/data/media but won't let me drill any further (I need to get to /raid0/data/media/films). If I manual type in nfs://(IP of NAS)/raid0/data/media/films, it says "Could not retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway?" This is happening on my main Windows 7 Home Premium desktop.
I need to use NFS as I will also be setting up XBMC on a couple of Raspberry Pis around the house connected to the network using homeplugs (I know not ideal but cannot afford to rewire). Testing across the homeplugs has proved that NFS is a much better protocol than SMB. I also want to sync the libraries across the multiple devices and therefore would rather have nfs in the advancesettings and source xmls.
Any ideas how I can connect to the NAS via XBMC on the Win 7 machine using NFS?
edit: I can connect to the NAS using NFS on the Raspberry Pi so this seems to be a Windows issue...
