I searched the forum for similar issues but could not find a anything so I decided to post it here.
I am not as technically knowledgeable as a lot of you here (I've never even run a crash log) but I'll try to explain my set up. I use a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ v2 (12TB), an Apple TV 2 (black) with XBMC Eden 11.0, and I use Xfinity as my ISP. I have all three of these components hardwired together.
Everything has been running smoothly for the last several months since I set up, until yesterday, coincidentally when my power went out. When it came back on I was happy to see that my Xfinity speed doubled but now when I watch anything on XBMC, even files I have previously watched without issue, it starts to buffer then playback stops after about 16 minutes. If I try to resume playback AppleTV cannot find the file or freezes. If I back out of the menu(s) or sometimes back to the AppleTV menu I can eventually get playback to resume from where it left off but when I do it will stop again at 32 minutes (ie: 16 minutes later).
I have not changed anything at all so I believe that the issue has to be with my ISP. Does anyone have any insight or experience with an issue such as this?
