Airplay Windows 8 XBMC Help

Been trying to get airplay to work for a few days now with no success.

Initially was trying it on latest nightly of XBMC Frodo with windows 7. I tried installing Bonjour print server, complete itunes, and even tried extracting latest bonjour from itunes and installing that manually.
I also tried some recommendations of disabling iPv6, and have tried forwarding many ports directly to 1 machine that airplay uses (out of desperation).
Windows firewall is completely off at this point also

Thinking maybe a fresh install would do me some good, I upgraded to windows 8 with the same results. Also with the same things tried above. I don't think it is my router since I can install XBMC on my macbook pro and turning on the Airplay service in XBMC on there it works first try. I think something is screwy with the Bonjour service...

Also, I never even get the little airplay icon on and idevice to even show up to attempt to try it. Running XBMC on the mac (Same frodo version) it pops right up.

Has anyone had any success getting this working lately? Would be a neat capability to have on my main TV. I am just stumped at this point and have run out of things to try.

Also, I have tried several reboots of both the TV XBMC Windows box and the idevices (tried 2 different iphones and iPads from 5-6.01 IOS). Again, pretty sure its not the router since it works w/the mac. Unless there is a correlation between the mac being wireless like the idevices that is enabling it to work.

It is a verizon fios actiontech router if anyone things I need to do something in there for the wired/windows box in order for this to work.

If you need logs or anything let me know, just getting late right now & getting some sleep. Thanks!
