I have two media centers, one running windows 8, one running xbmcbuntu. They both access my server that holds all my content. The server is running Server 2008 R2. Whenever I try to browse for an SMB share I can't see any systems listed. These systems were updated from Eden. When I was using eden, I didn't have this problem and could browse to SMB shares just fine. Now that I'm in Frodo, I can't see any SMB shares. If I manually type in the server name and the share location using the SMB protocol, they work just fine.
This wouldn't be such a problem, except that some things, like conditional weather, don't let you type in a manual path, and you have to browse for SMB shares if you want to use one.
Does anyone else have this problem, or know how I might solve it?
