Force poster/banner/all jpgs rescan ?

Another noob question.

Is there a way to force a full refresh of all the thumbnails, fanart, posters etc etc for all movies and TV Series without deleting all my watched and position tags etc in the database?

I've just rescanned all my fanart and sorted out all my TV Series seasonxx-fanart.jpg files and want to get my ATV's etc all updated with the new jpg's
