OpenElec - Manual Update

Afternoon all, I've just update my OpenElec build for the first time and had the same problem on both systems.

I downloaded the latest official release and used the updte folder, rebooted and it all went fine.. except my network was dead.. nothing..

I had to manually copy the system and kernel files to the SD, rename the Kernel file to Kernel.img and then all was fine on next boot.

is this common or something i've managed to acheive all by myself?
