Conditional CEC Commands

Has anyone figured out a way to turn on or off devices based on which type of media is playing? Forexample, If I'm playing music, I don't need to the TV on. I'll just need the receiver on. When watching TV, I may want only the TV on and not the reciever. All controlling is done via my phone so I don't actually need the TV on. Any direction would be appreciated.
