Hello everyone!
I bought a HTPC with the idea of installing XBMC on it. But to be honest, i didnt make some research before buying, and now, I have an AMD FUSION e350 APU (Gigabyte E350N-USB3), that seems to be highly incompatible with Linux.
I tryed almost everything, Fedora + XMBC, Ubuntu + XBMC, XBMCbuntu and finally OpenELEC. But I failed, i couldnt make the HDMI sound work...
So finally, i had to install windows 7 and also after struggling with AMD drivers, which are crap, i was able to play video and sound through HDMI.
So, my question is: Is there any way to have the HDMI audio Working in AMD Fusion platforms? Because I would REALLY love to have XBMCbuntu installed instead of windows!
Anyone here has an AMD E350 based HTPC working? Any help would be extremelly appreciated!
