Disable scrolling for text
I've found it impossible to disable scrolling for a focused title. Supposedly, it defaults to false, and as far as I've looked, there is not a single "scroll" reference in any .xml file on the skin I'm modifying (I've, in fact, removed almost all those, as I don't like to use variables). Yet, it keeps scrolling. The most confusing part is <scrollspeed> and <scrollsuffix> work!

All my artists have a blank photo. Is there a plugin that's installed in the default setup that grabs this, or must one download an additional scraper for this? All album art is embedded as ID3 tags, so they appear correctly, but how does one grab artist art?

New AMD 2200GE and 200GE APUS reasonable for an all-capable HTPC?

I've also posted this on the AVS forum, but for better general recognition and to gain a wider attention -to collect as many experiences as possible- I would like to also post these in here.
So lately AMD came out with the 2200GE APU with Vega 8 IGP and with the 200GE APU with Vega 3 IGP. Both has 35W TDP and native support for HDMI 2.0a. That means UHD/HEVC/HDR/VP9 for sure (at least I would wonder if they would fall regarding these decoding features).
he questionable features would be FHD 3D MVC playback, with the usual playback software like PowerDVD and DSPlayer/MPCHC+MadVR and proper quality and stutter-free SD, 720p, 1080p to 4K upscalling.
Has anyone any relevant experiences if it works well and problem-free with these Vega IGPs?
And what would ones general opinion here regarding if these APUs (with a not-so pricey motherboard, that has native HDMI 2.0a output) are really good deal or not for a budget all-in-one X64 HTPC?
Regarding my calculations they would come out to be much cheaper than an entry level Intel Pentium + a dedicated RX550 VGA. Also maybe more suitable for an iTX housing as no room needed for a video card. Despite that, the 35W TDP still seems a little bit high, so I guess it would definitely need good active cooling.
So would this be a good path to take HTPC wise?
This includes the questions regarding proper and cadence-perfect 4K/HDR playback, proper SDR<->HDR conversion. Also the good quality SD and 720p to 4K upscalling (some already suggested that these Vega IGPs horsepower and mostly their memory bandwidth and amount would be not enough for this with MadVR). And of course the proper 3D MVC playback. All this mainly imagined on Windows 10 platform with the most popular HTPC playback software alternatives (also mentioned above).
You can post opinions, suggestions, and -mostly anticipated- real experiences or tests regarding the Topic (in this Thread or optionally to the AVS Thread as you wish...)

Debian/aarch64 (armel) / Failed to load libmediainfo

Just bought a Vero 4k (i.e Debian stretch aarch64) and trying to run TinyMediaManager in a docker environment.
Docker is installed, and I setup an minimalist LXDE container that I am accessing remotely via VNC. This works just fine.
I installed openjdk-8 and libmediainfo/libzen from Debian repos. FYI mediainfo cli runs OK.
When launching TinyMediaManager 2.9.12, I get "Failed to load libmediainfo".
lib files are located in /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnuearbi.
while investigating, I came accross old posts and I tried copying lib files in native/linux-arm, native/linux-armel... nothing works.
There might be something wrong with the way TinyMediaManager searches the system for libmediainfo for this architecture...

Android - V17.6 on Android TV won't play new video content over webdav, old content plays fine.
Hi!
Since about 2 days ago, Kodi V17.6 on my Philips Ambilight TV with Android refuses to play any new video content over webdav. The odd thing is, it will play 'old content', i.e. content that has been played before, but newly added video content will not play.
I've tried WEBDAV over HTTPS as well as over HTTP to rule out any certificate issues/errors, but via both new video content will not play.
In the logfile, I see multiple errors such as as well as and
I don't understand why Kodi reports Error 403 (Forbidden), as it has access to browse the directory (else the video content wouldn't show up in Kodi) and previously played video content in the same folder plays fine. The video content is hosted on my Synology NAS.

Are there any plans to embed a webcam feature for kodi?
Watching tv or movies is fun, but having a cam attached that can be accessed from within Kodi would be very usefull.

Best way to search EPG for a program entry
In my addon, I'm trying to find a way to search the EPG for the name of a TV program using the channel number and start time. I've used JSONRPC to find the broadcastid of the program I'm interested in but when I supply the broadcastid as a parameter to PVR.GetBroadcastDetails, I get an invalid parameter error. My research has shown that this bug has apparently been around for some time.
Is there another technique that can be used to search the EPG for the information I'm looking for?

Android 7 + wifi 5G - what IPTV box to choice? RK3399 is not recommand to Kodi?

Noobie - need help with adding Onedrive as source

I'm a newbie to Kodi, and could really do with some help. I have installed the OneDrive add-on and can access files and play files in Kodi by navigating through Video add-ons then the file structure on Onedrive.
But how do I add onedrive as a source? What settings do I need (new share / server name / folder / port, etc).

Allign image to the left
I'm trying to get some rating images to "align left", if that's the correct term. They're images of different width ("★" is shorter than "★★"), and for some reason they don't all start from the same point.

(To be clear, the grey star spaces is a different image).
I've also tried <centerleft> to no avail. I know a fix would be to make all the images have the same width, but I was wondering what I'm doing wrong here still.

How do i display images

for my new plugin I try to add the ability to display screenshots and artworks, like a picture add-on.
What I tried so far:
The debug log states it uses ff-mjpeg codec and duration is 00:00:00.04. Does it show the image for only 40 milliseconds?
How do I display an image properly? I saw other picture add-ons implementing a custom GUI for this purpose.

Bug - Gap between Subtitle button and dropdown
There is a slight gap between the Subtitles button (in player mode) and the Subtitles drop-down menu which makes it nearly impossible for air-mouse users to access the menu before it disappears. It can only be accessed with a keyboard/remote.

Navigation within multiple lists
Hey there,
I have some problems to get the navigation of a horizontal orientated wraplist work like its needed to be. As far I understand, horizontal orientation means, that I only can control the list with left and right, and vertical orientaton with up and left. But I need to something like this: UP scrolling through the list, Down back to pevious Focus, left focus to a different list and right also focus to a different list. I can't figure it out how to do this.
For better understanding what I am trying to achieve. I redoing some facelift to an old Skin and I like to have one the Homescreen a similar look like the Xperience Skin, but just for one Focus, not through all the Homescreen. So I did the layout as I like to have it, and its working, beside the Navigation through the lists. I am using 3 lists for 3 Widgets - on the left side Album Covers, in the Middle Movie fanarts and on the Right side Recent TV Show Thumbnails. All the 3 lists are showing one Item and silding/Scrolling through the rest.
I already stemp hours to check the xml code from the Xperience Skin, but its a bit to complex for me to undertand it all. So maybe someone has an easy solution how I can get it work.
