Hi - I haven't had my Acer Revo with XBMC for long and it's a pretty simple setup I have.
XBMC 11.0 Eden with the Aeon MQ3 Skin. I have a folder on my server hosting TV Shows & Movies with Ember media manager doing the scraping work. They were both added to XBMC without any issues and up until a few days ago I was running pretty smoothly - until I added some TV Shows to my server last Monday morning. They failed to appear on the XBMC when I went to TV Shows > Files > Scan for new content. I was presented with an error message saying "unable to connect to remote server". The dialogue box on the top right corner also appeared and disappeared pretty quick - quicker than normal.
If i stay in file mode and manually go into TV Shows and browse to the shows folder - I can see the new episode in there and I can play it no problem however that's not what I want - I'd like for things to go back to how they were. I've tried searching the forums but found no luck. I haven't really changed anything apart from adding a new user account in XBMC - which i've now deleted. I have tried removing and re-adding the YouTube add-on also. Also tried rolling back the TVDB add-on to 1.3 and back to 1.4 but still no joy. I enabled debugging and re-created the error (although this time it didn;t say 'unable to connect to remote server' - however still no new TV Shows added).
Frustrating but hope someone can help.
