GetDirectory - Error getting library://video/ - Missing "add source" Button

Hi
I'm new to XBMC and have a little problem with my setup.
I'm using Debian Testing x64 with Gnome and Kernel 3.2.0.3 and installed XBMC from Repo.
Quote:Starting XBMC (12.0-ALPHA3 Git:Unknown), Platform: Linux (Linux Mint Debian Edition, 3.2.0-3-amd64 x86_64). Built on Jul 13 2012

XBMC works great except the video section. When I enter videos I miss the button "Add Source" or "Add Videos".
The log file gives me the following error messages:

The Font errors shouldn't be the problem but the lines with "ERROR: GetDirectory - Error getting library://video/ "

I cleared the libraries (under settings) and tried to add a source manually in sources.xml but they don't appear in the frontend.

All I get under Videos is the empty folder structure: ".."

I deleted the .xbmc folder in my home directory but this did not fix the problem. And also tried to reinstall it completely.

I searched the forum and google. And found an old thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=107622 but without any solution to the problem.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards

sesc
