Newb-ish stuff, I'm sure, but I've searched the forum until my eyes ached, and either I haven't been able to turn up a solution that does what I want, or I have but am too stupid to understand it.
I'm running XBMC (Eden) on the family HTPC, and I want to output a basic text or html file that is automatically updated every time I add new movies or episodes to the library, like so:
I plan to share this via Dropbox, so family members can see what's new at a glance on their own devices, without having to fire up the HTPC.
N.B., I'm aware of add-ons like Sharethe.tv, but I'd prefer a set-up that automatically syncs the file across devices, so that in the event that family members are out of wi-fi range, or that our internet connection is on the fritz (a sadly common occurrence), they still have a recent version of the list available to them.
If anyone has any suggested solutions, I'd be really grateful.
(Assume that my knowledge of {thing you're talking about} is basically zero.)
