kodi repo - new version not showing

I used this link to create a repository via an apache2 server and it does work. however when I updated the version, it does not seem to be showing inside kodi. The addon.xml file does show 0.2.1 as the version but when going through the repo in kodi, it still shows as version 0.2.0 as the only one available. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
