Hi all,
I've recently been experiencing one problem. Now I have a folder including 200+ movies, each movie is placed in individual folder properly named. Within each folder, there is some already existing artwork files and nfo file corresponding to that movie. I was trying to add these movies into my Kodi movie library. I know that I could choose Kodi to just use local metadata. However, for certain reasons, I want to keep all files intact and not modified by Kodi. I wished to use a scrapper to help me get metadata scraped to Kodi's folder.
However, it seems that Kodi somehow saw that there are nfos in the movie folder and just read the nfo files. Somehow I am fine with that, as long as it doesn't change my nfo. But it seems that it reconized the nfo, but not the artworks. Moreover, it seems that the existing nfo prevented Kodi from gett new artworks from the metadata provider (MVDB in my case). To get new artworks, I have to individually choose every movie and let Kodi to rescrape.
Does anyone know how to let Kodi to ignore my nfo and just scrape everything afresh and store them on local device (I am storing my movies on my personal NAS, to which Kodi connected with NFS service)? Or is there a way to let Kodi just get new artworks for all movies from chosen metadata provider instead of going through all movies manually?
Thanks all.
