Can't play ISOs or M4Vs

Hello all,

This has been driving me crazy. As soon as I did the last Leia update Kodi won't play my ISO or m4v files. It spins for a while and then loader disappears and goes back to idle menu state, as if I didn't do anything. I haven't been able to use Kodi in a long time due to this.

I'm 100% sure this is not an isolated incident since I have 4 Android TV devices and an android tablet. The problem happens in ALL my Kodis, the common factor: 18.8 update.

I don't know if the problem is particular to ISOs and M4Vs because I don't own files on a different format.

I've looked everywhere on the web and can't seem to find anything on this problem, that's why I came to this forum. I would assume a bunch of people are having this issue, so pardon me if this thread is a dupe.
