Hi all, I know that you guys won't directly support a Raspberry PI etc, but thought I would ask the question here as I beleive it could be more likely related to my TV than the specifics of the Raspberry Pi.
Here goes, any advice I'd be really grateful.
Raspberry PI running either RaspBMC or XBian. Panasonic Plasma (purchased within past 6 months). When booting detects 1080p @ 50 Hz. I've gone into XBMC/Settings/System/Video and set overscan adjustments to be correct. All menus and parts of XBMC look fine and correct on the TV. I then go into Movies and select any movie and start playing (typically my movies are 720p rips in mkv containers using 23.976 fps and DTS.
a few seconds (anywhere upto 10 or 15 sometimes) the picture of the video just changes, and suddenly my perfectly set overscan is wrong. I cannot see all the OSD controls as its like the screen has gotten larger aspect ratio. I have tried unsetting the Adjust Refresh Rate to Video setting but that makes no difference. When you stop the video and let XBMC go back to the menu's, the enlargement remains so my menu's are not completely visible anymore either, reboot and its all back to normal.
I have 2 Raspberry PI's, and on my much cheaper smaller lcd (LG), it doesn't do it. but that TV is running at 24 and not 50.
So, any idea what I need to change to stop the vide playback adjusting my already set video calibration and overscan ?
Any help much appreciated, and sorry if I shouldn't post here, but searched the net a lot to try and find ideas and solutions and coming up with nothing so far.
