Keep Kodi Full Screen when after AVR off, then on?

Kodi always goes off Fullscreen (real full screen, not full screen window) when I turn on my AVR & Projector... sometimes it even locks up completely and I must kill the Kodi process.

Has anyone figured out how to Kodi to say full-screen across off & on cycles?  Using on HTPC
