A couple of weeks ago I upgraded my HTPC from Ubuntu 10.04 with XBMC 10 to 12.04 with XBMC 11. Ever since, there is a long delay while starting playback of a video. You can see this delay in the xbmc.log file:
See the 7 seconds delay which seems to be initialization(?) of the video database, and another 12 seconds opening the DVDPlayer.
Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?
ASRock 330HT btw.
