Hi all, having a slight problem with Kodi - I decided to upgrade to the latest OS and install the latest Kodi also, from the initial playback after s successful upgrade I noticed massive issues with playback jittering, checked CPU as this would normally be a 100% and everything was fine, that said I stopped loads of services etc and got it down to ~20% CPU utilisation whilst playing videos with Kodi so I don't think it's that. I've tried checking settings and refresh rates from suggestions on the forum and no joy. I'm currently looking at a new graphics card but I don't quite know if this will resolve or or not, Graphics CPU is about 40% whilst playing so not exactly stressed.
I will hold my hands up, in terms of video playback I have no idea what I'm doing, refresh rates and decoding etc is all alien to me, everything else is good though!
Hear to hear thoughts and ideas of what direction to look..!
1. Version of Kodi. V18 Compiled: 2019-01-28
2. Windows Version + Service Pack version: Server 2019 (Windows NT 10.0.17763)
3. CPU/Architecture (make/model and eg. 32 or 64 bit.) - AMD Opteron X3216 / 64bit
4. RAM amount (2 GB, 512MB etc.) 8GB
5. Detailed Instructions to reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.) - Play ANY video from local source. Sometimes the lag is so much Kodi comes up with the "skip" bar and jumps 30 seconds.
6. Details of all devices relevant to the problem - Upgraded to 2019 at the same time as upgrading to Kodi v18 (Might as well do a fresh load so no idea if this happened on the previous version on this OS. I would assume yes as previous was 17.6 on Server 2012.
