Hi, got a question about progress bar + loading (buffring) screen

Hi,
my Kodi was recently updated to 18.0 (leia) and with it my skin to the latest one.

my uses of the Kodi are to play short 1 minute video one after the other, or sometimes loop 1 video that is 1 minute long over and over.

in the old version, when a video start, the transition was clear - the progress bar didn't show, and the move between one another was direct (no buffering or loading screen).
ever since the update, i get both.

i tried to play with other skins - some doesn't show the progress bar at all but do have loading screen, some show the progress bar but doesn't have the loading screen.

is there a way to change this settings? since some skins have either both, or only 1 of the 2, i assume this is a skin feature.
