Hi all,
This is my first post, so please be gentle. I've recently defected from Freevo to XBMC using OpenElec on a Raspberry Pi, and I'm very happy with things so far - especially not having to get my hands dirty in the world of Python as often.
The one thing I can't work out how to do, though, and have searched the forums for, is to be able to get XBMC to keep playing through my music collection. I know this isn't a popular way of playing, as most people use playlists for multiple albums. However, on my portable mp3 player, I just go to an album I want to hear, hit play and let it go on until the battery dies. Once it finishes an album, it goes to the next album alphabetically for that artist...once all the albums are done, it moves on to the next artist.
For example, I get to the end of the last track on "Machinedrum - 2011 - Room(s)", and it goes on to the first track on "Maeror Tri - 1994 - Saltatrix". I don't mind that the genres are different - if I don't want to listen to something, I can always go back to the gui and start another track playing.
Thanks in advance for any advice to replicate this kind of setup.
