Call shellscript when entering a Favorite?

I have hidden all my Movies under different favorites and would now like to add a Karaoke favorite (which holds Karaoke DVD content).
Upon entering this favorite I'd like to activate my microphone using , then disable the microphone again once the favorite is left.

Is there a way to "bind" a shell script to the event "entering a favorite"?
