second, if anyone does not like the fan art scale in the big fan view add this line <aspectratio align="center" aligny="center">scale</aspectratio> after line 44 in the Viewtype_BigFan.xml file.
I love the big fan view but this was bothering me more than it should have, i know it's a small thing but i didn't find it anywhere so i got it with trial and error and thought that i ought to share it.
