Volume button increases every 2 seconds

Weird one. Have a Dell laptop with 12.2 on been working fine until few days ago. Even at home screen the volume control goes on its own, increasing every 2 seconds. So constantly appears on the top right screen at this interval, and when you play any stream it does it and corrupts the stream audio with key presses.

I have run diags in the keyboard and come up fine, doesn't do it in any other app.
Have no special keyboard.xml key mapping or anything
Have disabled the keyboard and connected USB keyboard and still the same
No other devices connected
No errors or anything in log.

Any one have any ideas??
