Hi guys,
I was a satisfied user of an M-Audio Delta 44 audio card. It's a PCI card with a breakout box that offers better sound quality than the sound chips and analog connectors that are typically built into motherboard. See here: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Delta44.html
But now I want to move to a smaller computer that won't have room (or even a connector) for a PCI card. What is a decent USB audio widget/card that will not cost me an arm and a leg? I've looked online a little and all I've seen cost hundreds of dollars. I bought the M-audio card (second-hand yes, but still) for $90.00! I'm mostly looking for something that will work under Linux and connect to an amplifier with regular RCA connectors. Digital output nice but not essential.
Thanks!
