XBMC slow start to play film

Hi all

When I attempt to play a film using the Movie feature, the film can take several minutes to start to play. In the bottom right I get the spinner that says "Working". However, if I play the film by finding the file in XBMC it plays instantly. What is going on here? I've attached a log to try and help debug this.
