Apple TV 2 Jailbreaking Question

I have tried 2 USB Micro cables for use on my Apple TV, One cable is a little thicker then the other so I was thinking that maybe one may not have data and the other may not... So I tried the thicker one after failing with the a little less thicker cable... Niether of them made the Apple TV light blink like it should..
I am using Seas0nPass to jailbreak...


Do you think maybe the Apple TV Power Cord should be in during this process?
