Hi guys,
Quick one. Ive done this before with two windows machines yet I cant recall how.
I have a windows 8 machine with two shared drives. I also have a raspberry pi with xbmc and wifi for scraping etc. The windows 8 and pi are connected by a direct ethernet cable. I want to access the shared drives on the windows 8 machine for the content on the pi. When I go to add the videos I would presume it would be as easy as browsing via windows smb and my shared drives should be there but they are not.
Is it the windows end or the pi end? Or the fact that on the pi im accessing the net through the wifi and trying to access the shared drives via ethernet?
