Hi guys

i was hoping someone here could help me learn if the Marvell ARMADA 1500/88DE3100 was useful for an ARM device dedicated for XBMC ?

i have been looking around a lot for some of the more affordable ARM devices, and i have now ruled out the Allwinner and rockchip solutions, the AMLogic is useful with the Linux based XBMC versions, well atleast the M3, and soon the M6/MX as well. But what about the Marvell 1500 SoC?

The internals i have been thinking of using is this:
CPU: ARM Cortex A9 Dual core, 1.2GHz CPU; Marvell ARMADA 1500/88DE3100
GPU: 3D GC1000 Open GL ES 1.1, 1.2 & 2.0 Graphics Processor Unit

Useful ?

Now as far as i know, the CuBox uses the Marvell 88DE3100 SoC as well, and that has a GeeXboX XBMC build running. So i am guessing that there is access enough to the sauce that it can be used for XBMC ?
