My old man is losing his hearing. He needs the TV up so loud that it bothers the rest of us. We have counteracted that by giving him headphones which he then turns way up while we listen to the tv at a normal level. I want to simulate this in XBMC as well. Right now I running the audio to the TV via HDMI and this works fine, but when I plug his headphones into the headphone jack on the XBMC box I get no sound. It seems like I get sound via the headphones when I dicking around in windows, but not in XBMC. Is there some setting I need to change?
If it matters, my motherboard is: ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
