I cannot find advice on my particular problem with the Blu-ray player in XBMC (Frodo 2.2). I have several Blu-ray movies I ripped to an external NAS drive, which is on my gigabit ethernet. When I play the movies, sometimes the screen randomly minimizes while the movie is still playing. I can still hear the audio, so I have to quickly "re-maximize" the full-screen to continue watching the movie. It is very annoying, since it seems to happen randomly, sometimes several times during the Blu-ray movie. I also have several regular DVD movies I ripped to the hard drive as well, and the minimizing problem never happens with DVD movies.
I have a dual core PC running Windows 7, 32 bit. The CPU is AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2.90 GHz. The display adapter is NVidia GeForce GTX 460, and I have UltraMon installed to handle the dual monitors. I watch the movies on a large flat screen TV, and I enable the secondary device with UltraMon before starting XBMC.
The minimizing problem appears to be with the XBMC Blu-ray player, because it doesn't happen when I play DVD's from the very same NAS drive where I have stored the ripped Blu-ray movies and DVD movies in folders.
Has anyone had this problem, and how do I fix it?
