Please help / View Problem

Hi all first post and i'm asking for help ive been configuring my XBMC system for a while now using the Aeon Nox skin with not one issue today i was messing around with the display settings and added a new menu item, (not sure if either caused my issue). Having been through all the settings and changed what iv changed iv now come to realise my movies and my pop up menus aren't displaying correctly!

Any menu i select to pop up now displays just white text over whatever is being displayed at the time making it virtually impossible in some cases to read, which is also making it difficult to go back through my changes for a fix!

Secondly my movies when selected used to be displayed cover left meta right however now it displays white text meta over a backdrop cover all to the right (picture attached)

If anybody could please help me out and tell me what iv changed and how to change it back it would be hugely appreciated!

P.S. I don't intend to gain the knowledge and run i would like to become a small player in the forums once my machine is up and i have experience/knowledge to share.
