Hi there,
I've been doing some scouting, but I've been unable to find a similar problem in the forums, or on google.
When I start a XBMC session from login, I am able to use my remote (I have configured it properly in Lircmap.xml, and in LIRC itself).
However, I cannot change the resolution from 1024x768 in XBMC standalone, so I have made a .desktop entry which runs "/usr/bin/xbmc" in ~/.config/autostart in my XBMCbuntu session.
My debug log when the XBMC session is starting contains this:
Whereas my XBMCbuntu session does not.
It is definitely finding the keymap file, as I have this:
There is likely some small configuration script I have missed, can anybody point me in the right direction?
Any help would be much appreciated, I will provide any extra required info.
EDIT: The XBMC processes are both being run by the same user (just to provide a little extra info)
