Hi All,
I have a Synology DS413j which plays the role of my back-end server for content and a Win 7 PC for the front-end where XBMC 12.1 lives.
From time to time, usually when I live XBMC unattended for several minutes, if I want to access a film, tv show or music stored on the server, XBMC displays a "Unable to connect to remote server" error message. If I dismiss the message and try again, it works. I guess there is some kind of "timeout being too short problem" going on here. I connect from XBMC to the NAS using SMB shares.
Do wou know what kind of setting (on the Synology or on XBMC) I could tweak to avoid this problem?
Thanks,
Seb
