Streaming BD from MakeMKV always has subtitles

Hi, Sorry if this is a newbish question but I am brand new to XBMC. I have searched around the forums some and while I found similar problems, none seem to be what I am experiencing. I am using XBMC to replace PowerDVD 11 (which I own) to play my BDs. I am not ripping to MKV but using the plugin to play directly (sorta) from disc using MakeMKV's streaming option. The issue I am having is that no matter which tracks I select, I always have subtitiles. I have even tried selecting just the first track and deselecting all audio and subtitle tracks. This resulted in 0 audio and still had subtitles. In this case the disc I'm using is Cars 2. Am I missing something here? Thanks so much in advance for any assistance.

edit; One last note. When accessing the subtitles menu from XBMC it is greyed out and there are no subtitle tracks listed.
