I think that full screen successfully suppresses a distros power save option from kicking in -- for instance the screen off after 1 minute.
It would be nice if the same suppression happened when XBMC is not full screened. If you're watching something, regardless of if it's fullscreen or not, it's likely you don't want your screen turning off.
