Channel speed improvement Live TV as in Windows?

Hi,

I've been reading the thread here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=160578&page=3

There margos has changed some values and channel switching speed up to 2 secs instead of 5.
Will this change be adopted to Android? Would be great
