Issues of 12.2 and dvr-ms video files

Just finished upgrading all systems to version 12.2 (Windows) and if have about a dozen recorded files with the extension of dvr-ms. When I attempt to play them with 12.2, they do not have audio and one video acts like you are fast forwarding. The videos play correctly through Windows Media Center, Windows Media Center and the files played correctly through Eden. I am going to batch convert them to mpeg so my wife can watch them.

Is this an issue with 12.2 or did something go wrong with the upgrade?
