Xbmc problems

Hi all please help another newbie:grin:purchased a aptv2 I have jail broken with seasonpass and now trying to install xbmc!! Prob I am getting is nito installer does not detect my aptv so I tried putty.exe,I can log in with root and alpine then do the apt-get update but then get awkwardtv.org stable release etc timed out?? Then comes up with some index files failed to downloadi confirm I have the aptv 2 jailbroke and connected through wifi, any ideas where to look next would be great
