Right I hope I can explain my problem.
I have one pc in the garage with all my media and another pc in the lounge connected to tv and both networked. I had "The Pacific" in the tv section of XBMC and all was fine. Then the other day I re-ripped the Pacific to a smaller file size because 7.5GB per episode was a little too big for me. So I re-ripped each ep to 4.5GB and then named the new rips with Filebot as I have done with all my media. Then I cut and pasted the newly ripped and named files over the old larger rips and now when I refresh the library none of the episodes show up. I have done this method before (pasted new files over the old ones with same names and XBMC has never complained).
XBMC see's the folder but not the episodes. I have tried re-sharing the folder, updated xbmc to latest edition, rescanned xbmc library countless times, removed the folder from library and rescanned...nothing works.
Has anyone encounted this prob before and if so how did you fix it? I'm tearing my hair out.
