Rar indicator or excluding in TV Shows

Someone might have another idea, but I'm looking for someway to indicate in my tv shows if it's a rar file or not.

Currently, I have an auto extractor which runs and places the video file in the same directory as the rar file. It would be nice to tell which one is from what source.

Or can you exclude rar from library updates? That would be perfect.
