I have Kodi setup on my Pi and all the videos are located on a NAS drive. My video files are named with the title of the video and they are located in a folder with the same name. When I scan for artwork, 98% of my videos will be correctly identified with the right artwork. Occasionally, there are some videos which do not pick-up the right artwork. E.g. the 1950's Disney Cinderella (file and folder) is called "Cinderella" but the artwork that gets picked up is 2015's non-animated version. What and how can I rename the source movie such that it works 1st time?
Also, what's the best way to name movies that are part of a collection? On my source NAS drive I put all the collection videos into a folder e.g. "Die Hard Collection". The main reason for this is because the list of videos would be huge otherwise and sometimes movies of the same collection aren't always together when sorting alphabetically. I used to prefix each of the movies in the collection with a number so I could force the order so they were listed in release order even though the view was set to alphabetical, however there were a lot of occasions when the number prefixed messed up the artwork from picking the correct one.
Any tips on this?
TIA
