Unable to add video source

I'm running 12.1 on an aTV 2 and I have a mac with OSX 10.8.3. I enabled file sharing on my laptop and have tried using both AFP and SMB. I try to add my laptop as a source in XBMC using the zeroconf browser. I see my computer listed, both AFP and SAMBA, but when I select it nothing happens. It does not expand to show me the shared folders on my mac. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
