I think I've reported this before but I can't find where, it's a huge problem and I will do whatever triaging or digging that is needed (including allowing remote connect from a xbmc developer).
This problem has presented itself in multiple Linux distros for years (Ubuntu, Bodhi Linux, Fedora) - running Gnome Shell, Gnome 2, KDE 3, KDE 4 and now Enlightenment and has come up on multiple machines.
Basically I use \ to full screen and get out of full screen all the time. About 75% of the time have no problems at all but once in awhile when I fullscreen I lose all keyboard functionality. They keyboard itself still works as I can do ctrl + alt + f1 and get into the init 1 so I can force kill XBMC but on skins that don't have buttons to push to exit XBMC, basically my only option is to go into init 1 and do a force quit (which comes with problems of its own).
I have a feeling focus is not working right on the window.
Like I said, completely willing to triage it with a developer, just let me know what you need
Forgot to directly say, mouse always works
